Oxnead Farm Nursery

Project to convert a collection of old buildings in a farm including a 19th century old milking parlour and 18th century brick kiln into a nursery school. The old structures had fallen into disrepair but the client wished to retain their character as much as possible. The layout of the existing buildings created a suitably enclosed play and outdoor learning space and was adjacent to the farm, allowing children the opportunity to learn about rearing animals
