Oakdene House

Renovation and extension to an 1930's farm workers house in rural Norfolk, set in amongst agricultural fields with forests in the background. The intention was to create a retreat that maximises views out to the countryside, with a series of peaceful and calming living spaces.

A mixture of traditional and contemporary building materials were used, including brick to reflect the construction of the original house and timber cladding inspired by the
